Project Overview

A man stretches out on a deckchair made of grilled sausages, shaded, or not quite, by a parasol covered in fried eggs that slowly drip in the heat. The series plays with the summer ritual of lying in the sun for hours, cooking ourselves just like the food on the barbecue, and with the strange idea of relaxation as something we roast, sizzle and burn our way into.

Challenge

Continuity sat in the heat itself. The man’s sunburn had to stay the same shade of red in every frame, from the extreme close-up to the bird’s-eye view, and his face, build and skin texture had to remain recognisable across very different angles. The sausage chair and the egg parasol needed the same browning, gloss and arrangement whether seen on their own or in the full beach scene, while the light had to feel like one long, merciless afternoon.

As with every series, there were no reference or inspiration photos. Each idea was drafted on paper, then described in words and generated in Soul 2.0, with Claude helping to fine-tune the prompts along the way. Nano Banana Pro refined the sunburn, the egg drips and the glossy sausage skins, and Adobe Lightroom brought the beach heat and the deep blue sky into balance.

A striking image of a galloping horse in motion, set against a minimalist light background with dynamic motion blur effects.
